Zach Louton joined Patterson Law Group after gaining valuable experience handling
personal injury cases for more than two years at Thomas J. Henry Law. He began his
legal career in 2020 after earning his J.D. from Drake University Law School in Des
Moines, Iowa, and practicing civil litigation with Grimes, Buck, Schoell, Beach & Hitchins
in Marshalltown, Iowa. He is licensed to practice in Iowa, Texas, and the federal district
courts in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
A strong work ethic has been at the center of Zach’s life from an early age—his first job
was detasseling corn in Iowa at just 14 years old. He went on to work various retail jobs
throughout college and law school to put himself through school, a dedication he now
brings to his clients at PLG.
Outside of the office, Zach is an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a passionate astronomy
enthusiast. He enjoys stargazing, telescope observation, building and launching model
rockets, and following the latest scientific discoveries. He currently serves on the
executive committee of the San Antonio Astronomical Association and is an active
member of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, San Antonio Trial Lawyers
Association, and Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Zach and his wife are excited to
welcome their first child in March 2026.
