This is the written consent form Patterson Law Group provides to clients as part of the client intake packet at the time of retention. Clients provide express written consent to receive text messages by signing this form during the intake process. Patterson Law Group does not collect SMS consent through this website. This page is published so the form's content is publicly available for review.

TEXT MESSAGE (SMS) COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT
Purpose. Patterson Law Group ("the Firm") would like to communicate with you about your case using text messages (SMS). Text messages will be used to send case status updates, appointment reminders, document and signature requests, settlement updates, and responses to your inquiries. The Firm will not send you marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on the activity in your case and your communications with the Firm.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and your individual plan. The Firm is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
Opt-out. You may opt out of receiving text messages from the Firm at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from the Firm. You may also opt out by calling the Firm at (817) 784-2000 or emailing info@pattersonpersonalinjury.com. Opting out of text messages will not affect the Firm's representation of you in your case.
Help. For help or more information at any time, reply HELP to any text message you receive from the Firm, or contact the Firm at (817) 784-2000 or info@pattersonpersonalinjury.com.
Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. The Firm's full Privacy Policy is available at https://pattersonpersonalinjury.com/privacy-policy/.
Not a condition of representation. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of the Firm's representation of you. You may decline to consent without affecting the Firm's representation.
Client Consent
On the signed form, the client initials one of the following options:
- YES I have read the disclosures above. I consent to receive text messages from Patterson Law Group at the mobile phone number listed on the form, for the purposes described above.
- NO I do not consent to receive text messages from Patterson Law Group at this time. I understand the Firm will communicate with me by phone, email, and mail only.
The form is dated and signed by the client (signature and printed name) at the time of retention. No text messages are sent to a client before this signed consent is obtained.
