Riley Waters graduated from Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration. He was an Honor Society member and achieved Dean’s List status in 2018-2019. Before that, he earned an athletic scholarship to play collegiate baseball at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
In 2022, Riley was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor Law School, where he was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta.
A native of Aledo, Texas, Riley grew up as the middle child of six children in a home of medical professionals. This upbringing cultivated a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to helping others. His previous experience as a PLG legal intern left him eager to re-enter the personal injury field and support Patterson Law Group’s mission to do good for our clients and our community.
Outside of the office, Riley enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching any sports team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He met his wife, Emma, while studying at Baylor University—Riley was pursuing his law degree while Emma earned her master’s in education. Emma and Riley live in Fort Worth with their Labradoodle, Luka.
